Name It - Knit It
My friend Pat Harris from the Neighborhood Knit Shop in Hendersonville, TN was sweet enough to let me "borrow" this awesome idea of hers!!
You all have them...hidden in the deepest darkest corner of your closet, stuffed at the very bottom of some plastic bag or neatly folded in an old knitting basket...I'm talking about ignored, overlooked and in some cases just plain forgotten Unfinished Projects!!
If you're ready to get them done, you're ready to play Name It - Knit It!
Here's how it works: Come to The Knitting Nest and register your chosen project to be completed by giving it a name and an anticipated completion date. A "game card" with your name, your project's name and date of completion will be posted on the Name It - Knit It Board.
Upon completion, we'll take a photo for our game gallery and put your game card into the "Bird Cage" for the drawing, which will take place during our 6 Year Anniversary Party on April 17, 2010.
After you've successfully finished your project, you can enter another one, which you'll have to finish before entering another one.....
You can register and comlete as many projects as you like between now and April 12 , 2010.
